This is too badass.  Your pen and ink work remind me for Joseph Clement Coll and Franklin Booth.  Wonderful rendering.  Superb.

Thank you that is a massive compliment - he is a legend - i actually found his work after i started MONO but he is now certainly a reference - though i only look now and again as it can be a bit depressing how lovely his line is! :D

well spotted! and thank you

Clement Coll has two book collections of his work out at the moment if you're interested.  Both are from Flesk publications.  Legacy Of Line and The Art Of Adventure.  Check them out.  Both are constant sources of inspiration for me.

I love this, Ben Love

Matt and I are working on a project and want to incorporate a pano like the one from Mono EP004. Do you mind if I pick your brain about it some day? :D (Big Grin)

Amazing work, I heard the response at the Con was great! GO MADEFIRE!

I only got to meet you and Liam briefly. I work with Dan Brereton doing Indesign layout work for some of his art books, so I was across at his table off and on. But I did get to spend a bit of time talking with Joe. Anyway, Mono has been great and I glanced at the book and immediately wanted a copy!

Ya, interest for reading and creating interesting stuff! Been working on something right now, which should be ready in a couple months. I am working on some other platform, but going thru the MadeFire tutorials and plan to port my stuff here as well.

Your work is very inspiring and it sets a great standard for all creators of motion books. Please keep inspiring us!

I love seeing your process - especially your black and white inks. You have somehow combined the best aspects of Joseph Clement Coll's linework with the energy of Klaus Janson while maintaining your own unique style. Beautiful compositions and emotion! Thank you for sharing!

That is such an immense compliment - my goal has been to pursue those kind of lines - Clement Coll line work but trying to keep a more modern/visceral storytelling as a juxtaposition - it is the start of a journey - so much to improve on - but a huge thanks for the comparison :D

Thank you - it's nice to have a sequence of the work in some way - the full screen option here helps get the art bigger. Thank you for the feedback! I have a printed version with me for San Diego Comic Con will be interesting to see what the response is :D
